Development actions on defense medical support, CBRN, biotech and human factors

Identification code: RESILIENCE-R-2023

Expected project completion: 2027

Among current security threats, the incidence of CBRN threats (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear), whether intentional, accidental or natural in origin, continues to increase. The project aims to develop and test new means of medical protection against CBRN threats. The specific objectives of the project are the design of new decontamination agents and new generation vaccines against monkeypox and variola viruses, or the development of therapeutics against infections caused by other bacteria or viruses. Further optimization and testing will move these means from the laboratory level to a higher level of technological readiness, up to their verification in a relevant environment.

The project is implemented with the support of the European Commission under the EUROPEAN DEFENCE FUND program.
